Your own nurse practitioner, onsite
A new model of workplace healthcare in Ireland. Our Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioners run a regular primary care clinic at your workplace, where employees can be examined, diagnosed, treated, prescribed for and referred on, without waiting for a GP appointment or leaving the office.
Advanced nurse practitioners are senior nurses registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland at advanced practice level, with authority to prescribe medicines and order tests. That means most problems can be dealt with in a single appointment at work.
What employees can be seen for
● Minor illness and injury: assessment, treatment and prescriptions
● Blood tests, ECGs and blood pressure checks, with results followed up
● Support for ongoing conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes
● Health checks and prevention advice
● Vaccinations, including workplace flu vaccination
● Referral to specialists or other services when needed
Why employers choose an onsite clinic
● Faster access to care: employees are seen at work, often the same week, instead of waiting for a GP.
● Less time away from work: a 20-minute appointment replaces a half day out of the office.
● Problems caught early: blood pressure, blood tests and ECGs onsite help staff deal with health issues before they lead to sick leave.
● A benefit people use: easy online booking and a clinic down the corridor make the service visible and valued.
● Confidential: clinical records stay in our secure patient system. The employer never sees individual medical information.
Who runs the clinic
Every clinic is led by a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner with prescribing authority. Our practitioners work in busy Irish emergency departments, and our clinical lead has over 30 years of nursing experience, 25 of them in emergency care. All our practitioners work to one set of Precision Health clinical protocols and governance.
How it works
1. Scoping call: we agree how many clinic days you need, appointment length and the services to offer.
2. Clinic set-up: you provide a private room. We bring, test and maintain all the equipment, including the examination couch, ECG, blood pressure and blood-testing equipment, and emergency and anaphylaxis kit.
3. Safety sign-off: we prepare full risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for your health and safety team.
4. Launch day: we can run an onsite promotion day to introduce the service to staff.
5. Regular clinics: employees book online through a secure link. We handle consent, records, prescriptions and follow-up.
Case study: a weekly clinic for a global technology company in Dublin
Since September 2026 our advanced nurse practitioners have run a weekly onsite clinic at the Dublin office of a global technology company with more than 2,500 employees, over 1,500 of them onsite every day. Three Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioners with prescribing authority deliver 20-minute appointments in a dedicated clinic room. The service went live within the client's safety and privacy requirements, and the employer sees no individual medical information.

Meet our clinical lead
Stephen Kelly, RANP, runs our onsite primary care clinic. He has over 30 years of nursing experience, 25 of them in emergency care, and still practises as an advanced nurse practitioner at Connolly Hospital, having previously worked at Mullingar and Beaumont hospitals.
Stephen designed the clinic model and sets the clinical protocols our practitioners follow, so every employee gets the same standard of care at every appointment.
